(loquacious). (1) A priestly family in charge of 16th course (1 Chron. 9:12; 24:14¹²And Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasiai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer; (1 Chronicles 9:12)
¹⁴The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer, (1 Chronicles 24:14)). (2) Place in Babylonia (Ezra 2:59⁵⁹And these were they which went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not show their father's house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel: (Ezra 2:59); Neh. 7:61⁶¹And these were they which went up also from Tel-melah, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not show their father's house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.
