In Christ Not in Self

That which I could never be,
Thou hast found in Him for me;
Life and light and holiness,
Wisdom, strength, and righteousness,
Sin and self I am below,
Sorrow, conflict here, I know;
But before th'unsullied throne,
Seen I am through Christ alone.
All of sin, O Lord, is mine,
All of perfectness is Thine;
What of death was due to me,
Thou hast borne to set me free.
