Inspirational Weekly Planner (IW / IWP)

There are three sizes:
Large = 8.5 x 11 (8.75 x 11.25 with bleeds)
Medium = 5.5 x 8.5 (5.75 x 8.75 with bleeds)
Small = 3.235 x 5.0 (3.485 x 5.25 with bleeds)
Directions:
For pdf Exporting use: “High Quality Print(600)” settings.
(Can use ““High Quality Print(1200)” but it results in very large pdf.)
Note: if printing fails, import job directly from "Fiery Command Workstation", You'll need to specify the job settings though.
Large:
Relink the “IWP—Large—Body—2up.indd” to the current year’s calendar. (~280 links)
Export pdf location:
X:\Production\Calendars\IW\[CurYear]\[CurYear]IWP—Large—Body—2up.pdf
Medium:
Relink the “IWP—Medium—Body—4up.indd” to the current year’s calendar. (~550 links)
Export pdf location:
X:\Production\Calendars\IW\[CurYear]\[CurYear]IWP—Medium—Body—4up.pdf
Small:
Relink the “IWP—Small—Body—10up.indd” to the current year’s calendar (~1,380 links)
Export pdf location:
X:\Production\Calendars\IW\[CurYear]\[CurYear]IWP—Small—Body—10up.pdf
Generic print Instructions
Print pdf to c7000 (or current color printer).
Use 12x18 24lb paper
Align tray with alignment sheets before printing calendar.
Check that color click counts match expected amount.

1) Create/find Final INDD with following dimensions:
Width: 6.5" (Medium 5.5" + 1" for Large)
Height: 8.5"
Bleed (4 sides): 0.2125"
Inner Margin: 0.6056"
Outer Margin: 1.3188"
2) Produce Sized PDFs to impose
Large)
Print PDF from Final INDD with following dimensions:
Height: 11.25" (11" + 2 x 0.125" bleed)
Width: 8.661" (8.411" + 2 x 0.125" bleed)
Bleeds: .125"
Scale to Fit: (129.4%)
Medium:
1) Export a new PDF from Final INDD with "Use Document Bleed Settings" (0.2125") checked.
2) Crop 1" off right of odd pages
3) Crop 1" off left of even pages

Notes from printing 2015 calendar -
In the creo rip (job settings, color, color flow) I had to change the color space from “Use Source CSA” to “US Sheetfed Coated v2” to get the correct amount of gray background in the days of the week. (Keep intent to perceptual)
I also had to adjust the master page bleed settings on the 2 page month spreads.
