I'd like to read a verse to begin with in Revelation chapter 19.
Just kind of preface.
These two meetings.
What is the purpose of prophecy?
Verse 10. Revelation 19.
The apostle John falls at the feet of the Angel that it showed him these things.
And the Angel responds, the middle of verse 10, See thou do it not. I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus worship God.
For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
If you remember that, it helps. It's not just to merely know the future brethren prophecy.
It is.
God's desire and His eternal purpose to bring the Lord Jesus Christ, His beloved Son, into the central position in the future day. You and I understand that it helps to understand the prophetical picture. I'd like to also say as we start these two meetings that I don't mind if I don't explain something real.
Easily or easily to be understood that if you raise your hand and ask questions, I know sometimes I don't make myself as clear as I might and so I appreciate questions. So feel free brethren. This is an address and.
I don't mind interruptions.

This afternoon I'd like to take up more of these three charts that we have here, maybe the second meeting this side, but sometimes people ask where do you get the timing that we're talking about when we talk about prophetical issues and.
First of all, before we talk about times, I'd just like to go to this verse in First Corinthians 10.
And verse 32.
I.
Just to see that God in the scriptures is talking about different peoples.
Notice verse 32. Paul says to the Corinthians give none offence neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the Church of God. Now when you read scripture, all scripture is written for us.
But not all scripture is written to us if you can understand it properly when you read the Old Testament.
You understand that God is speaking majorly to his earthly people, the Jews. Now when I say Jews, I think I need to.
Explain what we mean by the Jews. Because God's earthly people were the descendants of Abraham, and because Jacob had twelve sons, there are 12 tribes of Israel in the New Testament. When God. When we're talking about Jews, we are talking majorly about two tribes.
You remember there were 10 tribes that were carried away captive because of their idolatry.
In Israel they were scattered amongst the earth, and then there were two tribes, Judah and Benjamin, that were carried away captive to Babylon. Of those two tribes there was a restoration in the time of Ezra and Nehemiah. They came back to Jerusalem. And those were the two tribes that were present here in this world when the Lord Jesus came and presented Himself the first time, and they rejected Him and.
We're guilty of having him crucified. That's what we call Jews, comes from the word Judah. Jews are Judah and Benjamin, although there are others that are mixed in with them. You remember Anna in Luke chapter 2, who recognized him when he was brought into the temple was of the tribe of Asher. So there were others that were mixed in there. But majorly speaking, we're talking about the tribes of Judah and Benjamin. They are the ones.
Guilty of the rejection and crucifixion of the Lord Jesus. They were the ones that said as we read this morning, his blood be on us and our children and majorly this time of the great tribulation that we talked about these seven years is for them to reduce them to recognize the terrible sin that they committed in rejecting the Lord Jesus.
Then the Gentiles are the other nations of the earth.
We are gentiles. At least I don't think there's any Jews here.
Have a Jewish brother out there in Colorado Springs and there are a few that have been converted. Then we have the Church of God. That's God's heavenly people. God is saving from Jews and Gentiles to form a heavenly people. So when we read the Scriptures, we need to rightly divide it, not mix up the what belongs to the Jews to the church sometimes.
Because of that, people.
Get all confused and that's the problem with what is called covenant theology. They do not make any difference between Jews and and Gentiles in the Church of God. They say that the church in the Old Testament was Israel and we in the New Testament the church is Israel and so they do not distinguish an earthly people and the heavenly people and as such they start.
Losing the hope, the present hope of the Lord's coming, that's very important to distinguish. We are part of the Church of God. We are not of this world. We are in this world, but we're just passing through. So it helps to distinguish those things. Now I'd like to go to the book of Daniel, Chapter 9.
And we'll get some.

Some numbers there.
That are very helpful and sometimes people ask where do you get the numbers that there's going to be 7 years of tribulation. Daniel was a man of God.
And it's interesting in the 9th chapter, if you read the whole chapter, you'll find that he is in the major part of the chapter, is confessing the sins of his people, Israel.
And in doing so, he gets into the God's thoughts.
And I think that is such a wonderful thing, brethren, we need not to exonerate ourselves in view of the terrible ruin there has been in the Christian testimony, but simply admit it and confess it to God. And in that way Daniel got into the line of God's thoughts, so that at the end of this Chapter 9 of Daniel, Daniel was given one of the most.
Useful keys to understanding prophecy.
The prophecy of the 70 weeks.
Now the weeks.
In the Hebrew language I understand are not necessarily weeks of days.
There are groups of seven and so when we talk about 70 weeks, we are talking about 70 weeks of years.
Groups of seven years, so 70 * 7 is 490 years. Let's read the prophecy that he got from the Angel Gabriel.
Chapter 9 of Daniel and verse.
2470 weeks are determined upon Thy people and upon Thy holy city Jerusalem, to finish the transgression and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity.
To bring in everlasting righteousness and to seal up the vision and prophecy into anoint the most Holy, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Know therefore, and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore.
And to build Jerusalem, that's what you have in Nehemiah chapter 2. So it's tacked down to a very definite historical event. The command went out to restore and build Jerusalem unto Messiah. The Prince shall be seven weeks and three score and two weeks.
The street shall be built again in the wall, even in troubles times. Let's pause there. So we have from the commandment that was given to restore and rebuild Jerusalem.
Was to be 7 weeks and 62 weeks.
That date was approximately 455 BC, and so the seven weeks are 49 years, generally considered the time when that city was being rebuilt, and then another 62 weeks, another 434 years until Messiah, the Prince. And those that have done the calculation say that it works out exactly, not to the birth of Christ.
But to the date when he came into Jerusalem in the triumphal procession.
On a donkey Scripture, when you study it out, brethren, is so exact how it confirms the heart and the fact that we have in our hands the very Word of God and God doesn't make mistakes and calculations like we do. Sometimes we don't see it exactly properly. Then we need to stop and to rethink it and to correct our thinking about it.
So there was seven weeks and 62 weeks until Messiah the Prince, and I put a cross there because, you know, when he presented himself, he was not accepted, He was rejected.
Well, 7 and 62 is only 69 of the week, so that means that there is one week that has not been fulfilled yet.
Like somebody has put it, and I think this is a good way to put it, that when Messiah the Prince was rejected and killed, God stopped the prophetic clock. And it's not ticking in this time frame that we live in. And what we don't see in Daniel is that there is an interval that comes in right there when the Lord Jesus was rejected. Let's read that verse there in the 9th chapter verse.

26 And after three score and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself. That, and the people of the Prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
Now look at this carefully. The people of the Prince that shall come, the Prince that shall come, is the Roman Prince that will have power in Western Europe.
Very probably this Prince is alive today.
But at that time, when the city and the sanctuary were destroyed, as it says there in verse 26, was in 70 AD, approximately 40 years after the Lord Jesus was crucified, God gave us space for repentance to Israel.
When they did not repent, then the armies of the Romans came in, and they totally destroyed that city of Jerusalem.
They killed everybody in it. I understand that General Titus, who was in charge of the operation, gave charge to his soldiers when they went in not to destroy the temple. The Lord Jesus had said before that not one stone would be left upon another, and some disobedient soldier threw a torch through one of the windows of the temple, and it started at a.
Fire inside.
That was so hot that the gold melted and ran in between the stones of the temple.
And in looting the city afterwards, the soldiers were so.
Wanting to get that gold that they knocked down all the stones of the temple.
The Lord Jesus words were literally fulfilled. Not one stone was left on another. So that was an 8070 the the temple was destroyed. Now notice verse 27. Here is a key verse and he now that's talking about the Roman Prince shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.
Notice that there's that week that we're talking about.
That is that seven-year period that will introduce.
The coming of the Lord Jesus at the end of that week. What I want to make clear here, it is not the rapture that starts that seven-year week.
It is a pact that will be signed between the Roman Prince and the people of Israel. It's interesting that the present administration of the United States is not nearly so friendly to Israel as was the previous one.
What does that mean? It means that they're going to be looking elsewhere for support. And I really believe, because that Roman Prince is what is called over here the beast. He is the political head of Western Europe.
Have its seed in Rome.
He will be a beast because he has no reference to God in heaven, only looks at the earth. That's what he's called a beast.
He doesn't want anybody to be looking to God in heaven.
But when that man and he's probably alive in the world today.
Signs that pact with the people of Israel. Then it will be the prophetical clock will begin to tick again. And in seven years after that, the Lord will set his feet down on the Mount of Olives to establish his Kingdom. And you and I are going to be eyewitnesses of that majestic event. Oh, brethren, how it should excite us, how it should awaken us.
To where we are in the prophetical picture. You know, in First Thessalonians 5, we didn't have time to mention it yesterday, but it mentions two things that we need to be careful of. One is sleepiness spiritually we're talking about, and the other is drunkenness. How do we take that sleepiness? What does that mean to be sleepy?

Means you're not alert, right?
That right, Steve? Yeah, that happens to me too. Not picking on you for that, but but it happens to me too in meeting sometimes it's sleepy, but when you're sleepy, you're not alert.
We need to be alert.
Now, talking about physical sleep, you know you need it, but we're talking about being sleepy in a spiritual sense. Sometimes we're all alert as to our own business, as to our own family, but when it comes to the Lord's things, not sure whether I'm going to be able to do that or not.
We're not very alert. The other problem is drunkenness. What does that mean?
It's simply means that you're under the influence and you can get drunk with business, you're drunk with music, you get drunk with sports, anything so that you're not acting as a Christian, not act person. That's drunk. You know, they're drunk by the way they talk and by the way they walk and the same way.
If you are not walking as a Christian, maybe it's because of some influence and you're under the influence. Let's not get under the influence in these days. Way too important, way too glorious. What's ahead of us? We need to be know where we're going and.
What's happening in the world today? We need to compare it to the scriptures.
Well, we're still in this present interval of grace. We're waiting for the rapture. At any moment, the Lord will come to take us home. Ready. Are we ready for that moment? Now? I'd like to take this.
Earthly part here this seven-year period and go to.
Matthew's Gospel. Before we do, let me just read this last verse again. I don't know if I read the whole thing, did I? Verse 27 He said he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week and in the midst of the week. Notice that it's divided into two parts. In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.
And for the overspreading of abominations, it really means the the protection of abominations. He shall make it desolate even unto the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate, so that this week is divided into two parts. At the middle of the week he's going to cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, what is generally understood from this and other scriptures.
Is that in the first half of this seven-year period, this first 3 1/2 years, the Jewish people will rebuild their temple. It's necessary because First Second Thessalonians chapter 2 tells us that the Antichrist is going to go into the temple of God, showing himself to be God.
Another man that is probably alive in the world today. Incredible to think about, brethren.
These things are starting to move and.
There is scripture that shows that we will not know who the Antichrist is.
Until he is taken out of the way that now impedes. That's the Holy Spirit of God.
So while we're here, I don't think we will ever know who the Antichrist is. I've heard people try to.
Try to.
Say who they think it is in South America, they think it's Bill Gates.
I suppose it's because he's got a lot of money. I don't know, Funny people say, you know, but you can't go by what people say. You have to go by the scriptures. Scripture says that.
Well, you're talking about Zachariah, and I'm going to have to say that. I don't know what to say to that, so.
I interesting details that we learned a little bit brother, but we don't learn very much that I just give them a little bit what I what I know anyhow, the like to go over to Matthew's Gospel now and Matthew chapter 24.

And the Lord Jesus is speaking to his disciples about these times.
Notice the Lord Jesus is speaking before he was taken to the cross and crucified. And he says in verse 2, Jesus said unto them, it's the disciples, see not all these things, the buildings of the temple, verily I say unto you, there shone.
Not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down. That's what we were talking about.
That verse two has already been fulfilled in 8070. Now verse three. And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately saying, Tell us when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the age? It should read the end of the age, the end of this present age, the times of the Gentiles, because.
The end of the present age goes right to the end of the tribulation. The end of the interval of grace will be at the rapture. But when he says the end of the age, he's talking about this times of the Gentiles, the times of Gentile domination.
When Nebuchadnezzar came in and took over Jerusalem, it ended Gentile domination or Jewish domination and the Gentiles took it over and therefore major world powers that have been in power since then. One was the Babylonian Empire, then came the Medo Persian Empire, then came the Creation Empire and then the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire Empire has not existed for a long time.
But it is rising right before our eyes.
You know, it's interesting.
That when the Lord Jesus came the first time, it was the Roman Empire under the headship of Herod that tried to kill him as a baby.
Then it was another agent of the Roman Empire, pilot Pontius Pilate, that gave the order to have him crucified. And when Jesus comes the next time, it will be that same Roman power that will try to kill him again. And that's why we have Europe rising up to be a world power right in front of our eyes.
No, brethren, if we can.
We can remain asleep when we see things that are happening in the world today. the US is definitely on the decline. I think we all see that Economically it's teetering.
Can't put our confidence in the United States. Brethren, the Lord has given us reasons to renew our confidence in the Lord. But the US is going to go down. You don't have the US directly mentioned in prophecy.
If it's anywhere it is included in the Western Europe or the Roman Empire. The revived Roman Empire. Forget how many nations are in the West European Union now. Does anybody know it's 27.
But it is a powerhouse.
They can't get their act together very well. They have referendums over there and they vote them down. But I think it's just because the Lord is waiting in his patience. And when the US falls, I really think what's going to knock the US flat is the rapture going to take so many people out of this country. There's no way the US will stand. And I think this is going to be one of the most awful places in the world to have to live.
After the rapture, I'm not planning on being here.
I don't think you are either if you're a real believer. If you're not a real believer, you need to think about it because Americans are pretty well armed. And when food starts lacking, you know where people are going to do. They're going to get their guns out and they're going to go look. It's going to be awful. Anarchy will be the order of the day. Terrible, terrible, terrible times. We've had it so easy over here for so long. God has given so much chance to this country.
To hear the gospel.
And when those times come?
I really believe will be what will force Europe to come to the forefront and this man called the Beast will sign a pact with Israel and then starts the prophetical clock ticking again and we are in this time frame called the Great Tribulation. Sometimes we denominate the whole 7 years as the Great Tribulation.

But properly speaking, the Great Tribulation is the last 3 1/2 years. The 1St 3 1/2 years is, as we will see here in Matthew 24, called the Beginning of Sorrows. Let's read here.
A little bit.
Verse four of Matthew 24 Jesus answered and said unto them.
Take heed that no man deceive you, for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ.
And shall deceive many. Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For all these things must come to pass. But the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and Kingdom against Kingdom. There shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places. All these are the beginnings of sorrows. So we generally put that there over the 1St 3 1/2 years.
The beginning of Sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you.
And you shall be heated of all name nations for my namesake. Then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall be shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Notice this is talking about the great tribulation.
It's not talking about the.
Time that we live, sometimes people like to apply that to the present time.
And I really believe a true believer will persevere to the end. He may fall as Peter did.
That he will rise again. But this is talking about the Great Tribulation period.
It'll be awful to have to survive in that time. And he that perseveres to the end will be saved in the sense that he will go into the millennial reign in the blessing, in earthly blessing. That's what it's talking about here. He will be saved to go into the millennial earth.
Under the reign of Christ, notice verse 14. And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness, and to all nations, and then shall the end come and stop there, because there we get to the middle of the week.
But when it's talking about the gospel of the Kingdom, it's what's going to be preached all through that great tribulation period, the whole 7 years. The gospel of the Kingdom is not what we preach now. Exactly. It was what John the Baptist preached when he started his ministry and then the Lord Jesus also preached it. It's a very simple message. Straighten out your ways because the King is coming and he's not going to allow you.
To continue to sin like you are, he's going to have his.
Fan in his hand and he's going to thoroughly purge his threshing floor.
I think John the Baptist must have been a very fiery preacher and there were many who came and repented of their ways in view of the coming of the Lord Jesus the first time. So this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached again in the earth and people will respond to that gospel today. The gospel we preach is the gospel of the grace of God. We tell people that they believe in the Lord Jesus. They will have eternal life. They will have the forgiveness of their sins. They will have a home in heaven.
That's not the Gospel of the Kingdom. Gospel of the Kingdom is telling about the blessing when the King comes and establishes his reign in the earth.
Now notice verse 15.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolations spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place. Whoso readeth, let him understand. That's what we read in that last verse of Daniel Chapter 9.
The protection of abominations. And what is that abomination? What we believe it to be is the time, the middle of the week, when the Antichrist. The Antichrist will have his seat in Jerusalem, where the temple is. The beast will have his seat. This is the political head in Rome, where the woman, the religious system is writing the beast.

And.
This Antichrist.
Is going to prohibit the sacrifices any longer to a God in heaven? And this is a word to the Jewish people that will be in Jerusalem at that time. Notice he says then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains. Let him which is on the House stop, not come down to take anything out of his house, neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes, and woe unto them that are with child.
To them that gives suck in those days, but pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day. See talking to the Jewish people who observe the Sabbath, not to Christians. For then shall be notice great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time.
No, nor ever shall be. This will be the most awful period of tribulation that this world.
Has ever, ever seen. It's when man says basically, and it's what is called in other parts of the Scripture, the apostasy. We have apostasy in the world today. Apostasy simply means turning back from Christ to the world.
And there were apostates amongst the Jewish believers who turned back to Judaism from Christianity. We have apostasy. But the apostasy is when the Antichrist in Jerusalem says to those Jewish people who are offering their sacrifices from here on, no more sacrifice to a God in heaven. I'm God, you worship me. And he demands the worship.
Of the world, and that he worshiped the beast and the dragon, which is Satan. And so God opens the windows of heaven, and pours out with increasing fury His judgment on the earth.
Brethren, God strange work is judgment, and he doesn't want to judge.
But when that happens, it has a direct affront to God in heaven, and God will begin to pound this earth with his judgments. Oh, how awful it's going to be.
Should energize us to warn people about what's ahead, just ahead in this world. It's awful, awful, awful times.
But he's talking to these Jewish people, and so when they see this happen in Jerusalem, they're going to get out of Jerusalem.
They're told to get out of there because it's going to be terrible. And he says verse 22, except those days should be shortened.
Shall no flesh be saved? But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and there shall show great signs and wonders in so much. If it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. It's not possible to deceive the elect, but if it were possible, it's going to be so terrible.
The deceits that it would deceive even the elect.
This part, rather than that, speaks about lo, here is Christ, lo there. You know, it's amazing how many people have come to the forefront saying they are Christ even in this country. I couldn't believe it. You remember a few years ago there was a man down in Waco, TX. I think they should call that Waco, TX.
Because people, how in the world they ever get the idea that that man David Koresh was?
Christ is is awful. He was an immoral man, and yet they followed him as if he were Christ and they were willing to die with him.
But I remember a radio commentator in Waco, TX.
Was commenting on the fact that he said he was Christ, and he said that's not so surprising to us. What was surprising to us was how many people called in from other parts of the country to say that David Koresh can't be Christ because I'm Christ.

Isn't this country an educated country? What in the world gets into people's minds? They get hooked on those kind of people. It's incredible. But these things are happening in our world today. We had a man in Bolivia when I lived there that said he was Christ.
His name was Julio. Julio.
And since it has the same first letter as Jesus, he had a great big circle made for an Insignia for himself with a big J in the middle. But people didn't know in general was that that Jade wasn't Jesus, it was Julio and around the side of the circle that said Christ is the answer. Sounds pretty nice, doesn't it? But this guy would stand up in the front of his congregation and he would change the worship hymns and put his name in there.
And let his people sing to him and worship him. I tell you, it was awful when Guy came into our bookstore in Montero, Bolivia one time. That was one of his.
His followers and I said to him, I said.
Man, you better be careful, you're being deceived. Says When the true Christ comes, every eye shall see him. And I haven't laid eyes on this guy you're talking about.
I don't believe it. And he listened to me for a while, and then he shook his head and said, just like the first time that Jesus came.
But nobody accepted him. The more you speak against him, the more I worship him. And he turned and walked out of the store.
There's a spirit to this deceit and it's already working in this world. It's incredible. Brethren, these things are happening, these signs that we talked about in the first part of this, in the Beginning of Sorrows, things that we are seeing everywhere today. Like I said, there's no signs for the Rapture, but there are many signs for the appearing and some of them are starting to show themselves today.
I sometimes give the illustration of a storm that's coming. Where does the weather come here in Iowa? Falls come from this direction.
You see a big black cloud out there and Thunder and lightning. You say the storms coming, hasn't gotten here yet, but it's coming and we should be alert and see that things are shaping up for the end. Confrontation, tremendous things that are happening. Let's go on reading here. Bet more.
Verse 25 Behold, I have told you before, Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert, go not forth, Behold, he is in the secret chambers. Believe it not. For as this lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even into the West, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be, whenever it uses the title of the Lord Jesus, Son of Man. It's not the rapture that's talking about, it's always the appearing, because he's coming back as a man.
To judge this world and to reign supreme in this world.
Verse 28. Notice this verse for wheresoever the carcass is.
There will the Eagles be gathered together? What's the carcass?
It is the city of Jerusalem. After the godly Jewish remnant are being exposed and they escape from that city, all that is left is a lifeless profession, a corpse, a carcass, and there will the Eagles be gathered together.
Nations of the earth all are interested in this little tiny piece of real estate.
There's a lot of other places that are a lot better looking to me, but they are all interested in that and that's where God is going to bring them for that judgment. When the Lord Jesus establishes His Kingdom in the earth, verse 29, immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall give, not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heaven shall be shaken.

That is the replacement of the present system of government. The sun is a figure of a supreme power, United States of America. The president is the maximum power in this country. He is like the sun. The moon is a derivative power. Stars are lesser powers. All this system of government that we have known is going to fall to the ground. It's going to be replaced with the government.
With the Lord, Jesus is going to put in the earth. Notice verse 31. Now he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet. This is not the rapture.
And they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heaven to the other. This is those of the 10 tribes that will be gathered again in Israel to form the nation of the of Israel. Only God knows where all those 10 tribes are scattered. It says in the book of Isaiah. These shall come from the land of Sinnam. So some are in the land of.
Israel or in China? Cinema is the old word for China.
Rhetoric. Smith used to think that some of the Inca Indians were part of the lost tribes of Israel. It's interesting because they have certain customs that.
Might make you think that way. One of their customs is when they build a new house down there, they kill a Yamaha, what you call a llama, and they take the blood and they sprinkle it around the door and around on the House. If you ask them why they do that, say, oh that's to protect it from evil spirits.
But it could be that it came back down from the time of the Passover. Those are things that are very interesting to consider. We don't know where they are really.
But God knows where they are, and at this time there will be a great sound of a trumpet. This is not the rapture.
The Church. This is the regathering of Israel, and you have it.

3 Uniting of the Reforming of the Nation of Israel.
Verse 30. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. Then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. This corresponds to the verse we have in Revelation chapter one. Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and all the kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Why are they going to wail?
All their partying is over. They've got to meet Jesus. Tremendous to think of that. That day when the Lord Jesus is going to come back and reign supreme and the nations of the earth are going to see him. Remember the rapture. Only we who are believers, true believers, will hear and see the Lord Jesus, but at the appearing every eye shall see Him.
Verse.
We read verse 31, didn't we? And now verse 32. Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When his branch is yet tender and putteth forth leaves, you know that summer is 9. So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the door. That's what we're talking about. Yesterday. The rebirth of the nation of Israel is the fig tree.
That has put forth their leaves.
Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled, says this generation. It's not necessarily a time period, but it's a moral characteristic. It's the unbelieving Jewish people this generation. What are you going to say, brother?
When Israel expanded in 1967 into Gaza, did that have anything to do with the blooming of the tree?
I don't know. I've always heard it explained that the fig tree blossomed when it became a nation in 1948, but those are certainly significant times when they took back Jerusalem.
Verse 36. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

So here we have the fact of that day. He's not talking about the Rapture there, he's talking about the appearing.
No one knows. I don't think anybody can tell the day of the Rapture either. That's something that is not revealed. There's not even any signs that it might happen. It could happen today. It could happen before this meeting is over.
Verse 37. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, till the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. Then shall two be in the field. The one shall be taken and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill, the one shall be taken and the other left.
Some people like to play this to the rapture, and this is not the rapture either. This is when the Lord Jesus establishes His Kingdom and the one that's taken is taken away for judgment. The one that's left is left to go into the millennial day in blessing. Let me show you a verse or two from the Old Testament that gives you to understand clearly that that was the Jewish way of thinking. It is not the rapture that's being talked about. The rapture was something that was revealed to the Apostle Paul after this time.
Proverbs, chapter 2.
And verse.
21.
For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. That's the one that's left.
But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be.
Rooted out of it.
So the one that's taken is taken away for judgment, cut off. The one that's left is left to go into the millennial Kingdom under the reign of Christ.
I could show you other verses in the Old Testament too, but I want to get along in this chapter a little bit further.
I He talks about the coming in verses 42 and 43 as a thief and what we were mentioning yesterday, brethren, whenever it is is coming as a thief, it is the appearing that he's talking about. Never talks about him coming for us at the rapture as a thief.
He's coming as our heavenly bridegroom to take his home to heaven to the marriage of the Lamb. But when he comes as a thief is at the end of the great tribulation this world that doesn't want him and doesn't wait for him. He will come as a thief. What I want to point out here and has helped me to see brethren that from verse 45 you have a parenthesis that goes through chapter 25 inclusive to.
Verse 30. If you put the end of your parentheses there, it helps to understand.
Now notice verse 31 of chapter 25, and when the Son of Man shall come in his glory.
There it is again that title, the Son of Man, the Lord Jesus coming to reign, and all the holy angels with Him. There is another detail that does not appear everywhere. He's going to come with His Saints, and He's going to come with His holy angels. Then shall he sit upon the throne of His glory, and before Him shall be gathered all nations, and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats.
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
So this is what is called the judgment of the living nations.
The judgment of the dead is what Don mentioned yesterday at the end of time.
The Great White Throne will be set in space because heaven and earth are gone. They're burned up. They're dissolved. It was mentioned in our readings.
But this is the judgment of the living nations when the Lord Jesus comes back to establish his Kingdom.
They're going to all be gathered before him, and he's going to divide between them, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats, and the sheep are going to put on his right and be put on his right hand, and the goats on his left. Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand.

Come he blessed of my Father.
You inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Notice that detail how exact scripture is.
Not before the foundation of the world, from the foundation of the world. Why? Because these are people that are going into earthly blessing on the earth under the reign of Christ. The sheep are those nations which are saved, which have accepted the messengers of the Kingdom. The messengers of the Kingdom are going to go preach the gospel of the Kingdom to the whole earth and those that accept that message and show kindness to those messengers of the Kingdom.
Are going to be those sheep, and they will be introduced into the millennial Kingdom on the earth, into that Kingdom that was prepared from the foundation of the world, because their blessing is connected with Earth.
Their Kingdom was prepared when the earth was founded.
When did he choose you and me who belong to the church?
Remember.
Before the foundation of the world because you and I have really no connection with this world. So before there was any world in existence, he had already chosen you and me that believe to me, it's beautiful to see how exact Scripture is. Yeah, this preaching of of the gospel of the Kingdom of death. Would that be the 144,000? I'm sure Christian Jews that will preach the gospel.
They're believing Jews. I would say they're not Christian Jews, exactly, because Christian is what we denominate ourselves today.
But they are believing Jews and I would think that 144,000 is a figurative #2.
But then notice verse 40.
One then shall he say also unto them on his left hand.
Depart from me, he cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
These are the ones who did not receive the message.
Of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and they're going to be cut off.
It says at the end of the chapter verse 46. These shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into life eternal. Just one other detail here in verse 41. Notice that God never prepared.
Everlasting fire for man.
In fact, it's interesting to look into the Scriptures. God has no place prepared for human beings that reject the gospel because he wants everybody to be saved. He doesn't want anybody to perish.
And so those that reject that message are going to go to a place prepared not for man, but for the devil and his angels.
Was that rebellious man or that rebellious creature and his angels their salvation for human beings? There is no salvation for fallen angels. That incredible to think about how it should make us so thankful, brethren, for where God has brought us.
So that's how he establishes his Kingdom to reign for those 1000 years on this side. In the next meeting, I want to go into the final confrontation and the different proof peoples that are in the earth that will be involved in what is called inscription, the war of God Almighty. That's the Darby translation. Because what we, you know, our King James says the battle of God Almighty.
A war is a series of battles, and there will be more than one battle fought as the Lord Jesus establishes His Kingdom. So we'll take that up in the next meeting. We just pray to end this meeting.

The end of these last 3 1/2 years there is a period of about 75 days.
That is called.
The indignation, it is the most awful part of this last period. It's when God will be pouring forth the awful judgments, and it will be evident. You notice that.
Sometimes scripture speaks about 3 1/2 years, sometimes it uses the 42 months, sometimes it uses 12160 days. And since the Jewish way of calculating a year was 360 days, have you calculated out 12160 days? 42 months and 3 1/2 years are synonymous.
But in Daniel chapter 12 it speaks about 12190 days and it speaks about 13135 days. So from 1260 to 1335 or 75 days, in which time I would like to suggest there is going to be some of the most terrible battles of the War of God Almighty or the War of Armageddon.
And I'd like to talk about the final scene of conflict, when the Lord Jesus comes out of heaven. They hate Jesus just as much as they did the first time that he came into this world, and so they're going to when he comes out of heaven, the beast and his armies are gathered together to do war.

To do battle with the one that sits on the horse, the Lord Jesus Christ, as he comes out of heaven with his people. But to understand a little bit better the different.
Actors in the final scene I'd like to go over. I've made this list and it probably is a partial list, but let's go just I want to give you some scriptures to back up all these.
Actors.
Let's go to Revelation chapter 12 to begin with.
Revelation chapter 12 and verse one. There appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of 12 stars.
This is generally considered to be Israel.
She is clothed with the sun because in the millennial day Israel the in supreme authority in the earth.
And the moon under her feet, and all other authorities submissive to her.
And on her head a crown of 12 stars, the 12 tribes of Israel. And it says here she cried. She being with child, cried, travailing in birth and pain to be delivered. There appeared another wonder in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and 10 horns, and seven crowns upon his head. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered.
For to devour her child as soon as it was born. That's what happened when the Lord Jesus was born.
And it was the instrument of devouring. That child was Herod.
Who gave the command to kill all the children from 2 and below? He wanted to devour that manchild, and she brought forth a manchild who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. The Lord Jesus came from Israel and her child was caught up into God, into His throne. So doesn't talk anything about the life, the death or the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. No, He was caught away and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of her.
They should feed her there 1203 score days.
That's the last half of the Tribulation period, 1260 days.
Now it says, and the great dragon was cast out or there verse seven, it's there was war in heaven. Now this is what's going to take place and it's generally considered to be at the middle of the great tribulation.
That's when this will take place, a war in heaven and.
And it says.
There was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon Satan.
And the dragon fought and his angels and prevailed not. Neither was their place found anymore in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the Devil and Satan, which deceived the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
That's why this is such an awful period. Satan has been cast out of heaven and he comes to earth having great anger, and especially his venom is directed toward those Jewish people. You can already see it in the world today.
The president of Iran now he vows to completely rid the earth from of Israel.
Well, that's Satan behind them and it's going to get worse when Satan is cast out of heaven. That's about the middle of the tribulation. The fact that it's 12160 days that the woman is preserved gives us to understand that that happens about the middle of the tribulation period. So the first one is Israel. The next one is the dragon, which is Satan. And I'd like to say that number 2-3 and four here in this list.
Are sometimes referred to as the Trinity of Evil.
Like God is triune, there is a Trinity of evil and you have Satan here in chapter 12 and you have the next two in chapter 13. Let's go over there just to see. He says in verse one of chapter 13, I stood upon the sand of the sea and I saw a beast rise out of the sea having seven heads and 10 horns and upon his horns 10 crowns upon his names, the name on his heads, the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like into leopard and his feet were.

As the feet of a bear in his mouth, as the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his seed in great authority.
Notice that because today earthly authorities get their authority from God, for as much as they may not recognize God, all authority comes from God. And that's why we as Christians are commanded to submit to authority. But in that day, in this tribulation period, authority, earthly authority will get their authority directly from Satan. And that's why to submit to their authority, to submit to them, putting the mark of the beast on a person.
Automatic condemnation. So there you have the beast. He's a one that rises out of the sea. Scripture is especially in Revelation is is figurative, and the sea is the figure of the nations in.
Moved by strong waves of religion, the Muslim religion is moving the population of the earth in a tremendous way.
And waves of politics, even here in the United States, it goes back from the right to the left and to the right and to the left. And it's out of this massive confusion. It's going to be terrible. After the Lord comes, it's going to rise up, this charismatic figure, the beast, and he's going to take power, greater power. And says at the end of verse 3, all the world wondered after the beast somebody was talking to between the meetings.
About world government, I don't think it's going to come complete world government, but this man is going to be a man that is so powerful that all the world wonders after him. And they worship the dragon which gave a power to the beast. That's what Satan has always wanted is worship. And they worship the beast, saying who is likened to the beast who is able to make war with him. And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies.
And to power was given unto him to continue 40 in two months. There is that time frame again. Whenever you have 3 1/2 years, 42 months or 12160 days, it's the last half of that tribulation. 7 year tribulation it's referring to.
Now look down in this same chapter 13 to verse 11.
And I heard I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth. Now this is not coming up out of the sea.
Coming out of a more settled state of things. And he had two horns.
Like a lamb and he spake as a dragon. Notice that like a lamb because this is what is considered to be the Antichrist.
There's a lot of confusion on these topics, and I've noticed that in those who write on future events in Christian circles many times do not distinguish these two, the beast and the Antichrist. They kind of mix them together. But I think there is real reason to believe that Antichrist has his seat in Jerusalem because he's going to go into the temple and he's going to show himself as God, like we were mentioning, which is called the apostasy.
But the beast is going to be.
Right be written by the woman and we're going to talk about the woman down here at the bottom. So I really believe that the beast is.
Wrong. There is no other religion that has embassies throughout the whole world like Rome does. Political influence, it rides the beast.
OK, now let's go on to the King of the North and the King of the South.
God's eye is on this piece of territory.
That's where the Lord Jesus came. It's interesting to think that in all his 33 1/2 years of life, the Lord Jesus never really left this particular area of the earth where he passed his whole life. Interesting to think about, isn't it? But the Lord Jesus is the is when he was betrayed, you remember they took the money that they that Judas got. He got 30 pieces of silver.

And they bought the Potters field to bury strangers in. And that field is called the field of blood. Unto this day, that's what Israel is. It's a field to bury strangers in. They're going to come from all parts of the earth to fight against the Lord Jesus. You're going to fall there. They're going to be buried there, and that land will be literally soaked in blood.
It's the field of blood.
For 1600 furlongs it's some people calculate it's the whole length of the the land of Israel. It's going to be literally soaked in the blood of the enemies of the Lord Jesus when they he comes back to reign. Satan is making his desperate attack to conquer the King of kings. You know brethren, that's why revelation is called the revelation of Jesus Christ.
When John knew the Lord Jesus here in this world, he knew Him as the meek and humble Lamb of God.
And so in the Book of Revelation, he sees him in a totally different way. Here is a man who's going to come, and he's going to reign with a rod of iron. He's going to reign supreme, and he's going to tread the winepress of the.
Fury and of wrath and fury of Almighty God.
Is that the Jesus that John knew and life knew? And when he sees him, he falls at his feet is dead. Is it the same person? Yes, it's the same person. And that's why the Book of Revelation is called the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Yes, he is the Lamb of God, but he is also the lion of the tribe of Judah. And the lion turns aside for none. He goes straightforward and all the enemies that come against him are going to be.
Trodden down before him.
O brethren, the glory.
That day when Jesus reigns.
It's hard for us to even grasp it and the way we Live Today.
That it's coming, it's coming soon. Tremendous to try to think about it. So God measures everything from the land of Israel. And so when we talk about the king of the north and the king of the South, we're talking about from Israel. Let's go to Daniel Chapter 11.
There we have those two figures, too.
And you'll see it throughout the whole of the chapter, but.
We get down to the last part of the chapter, then we get the time of the end. You'll notice.
Verse.
Verse 40 says at the time of the end.
Chapter 11 of Daniel.
Verse 40 At the time of the end, shall the king of the South push at him? It's talking about the Antichrist. It's going to push at the Antichrist.
And the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind. Remember, the Antichrist is here in Israel, the king of the South. And this is the first thing that happens, is going to push at the Antichrist, and the king of the North is going to come down.
Through Israel at that time too, so that's King of the South. Is Egypt generally considered to be Egypt?
And although they have a peace pact with Israel, right now, they have.
They have never been that awful friendly with Israel.
King of the north is generally the considered to be the Syrian. You remember that Syria is capital of Syria. Is Damascus, the capital of Assyria? It was Nineveh. It's a different name in northern Iraq. It exists today. Anybody remember what the name of it is? Mosul. OK.
But it's, it's interesting, but the king of the north is the Assyrian and it's different than Syria. Syria may form part of the king of the north, but it's interesting to hear our older brethren talk about it sometimes. And generally they think it includes a lot of Turkey. Remember, Turkey wants into the European Union and they never have been able to get into it. They just don't meet the requirements and there's tremendous opposition.

Of them being in the European Union. And the reason is, is that they are part of the King of the North and they are not going to be alive in the final encounter with Europe and they're going to be against them. So what I've heard is that it will include Turkey, Syria and northern Iraq, which is the part where the Kurdish people are. That is probably where the Syrian Confederation.
That is the king of the North.
Now further on we read about God and if you want to go to learn about God, go to Ezekiel chapter 38.
And 39, we're not going to read at the present moment very much here, but notice.
Ezekiel 38 verse two son of man, set thy face against God, the land of magog, the chief Prince of meshech, and people think that's Moscow and tubal the.
Asian capital of Russia. Anyhow, GOG is generally considered to be Russia. Magog means the people of Russia. And then if you look further down.
In these two chapters, you'll find Persia mentioned Persia is Iran. Iranian people are not are not are not Arabs. They are Persian people. That's a completely different race there. And so it's different from the peoples of the Arabian Peninsula. Iran is Persia. Now the Arab nations that are around Israel, let's go to.
Psalm 83.
To identify some of those, I don't know that I can identify them all, but a few of them we can. We can identify today.
Psalm 83.
Verse one. Keep not keep not thou silence, O God, hold not thy peace.
And be not still, O God, for lo thine enemies make a tumult, and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come and let us cut them off from being a nation. The name of Israel shall be no more in remembrance. It's just about basically what they say today, isn't it? For they have consulted together.
With one consent, they are confederate against thee. The Tabernacles of Edom. Edom is generally thought to be down here in the area of the Red Sea. That is one nation, one people, part of the Arab peoples. That that is according to one of the minor prophets that doesn't come to me right now, is totally is destined for total destruction, the Edomites.
And.
The Ishmaelites, all these are.
Relatives of Israel. It's interesting. Edom was Esau, that was the brother of Jacob and the Ishmaelites, that was Isaac's brother in a Moab, and that was Lotson and the Hagarines, Giebel and Ammon.
You know Jordan, the capital of Jordan, is called Aman. It's really this word, Haman. They're the Ammonites.
And.
Amalek Amalek was another of Israeli relatives and the Philistines and the inhabitants of Tyre. Asher also is joined with them. They have hope in the children of Lot. Moab and Ammon were the children of Lot Cela. So you get the picture there of these.
All our people in the general region of Israel that want to completely cut off Israel from being a nation any longer, they do it anyway they possibly can. They can do it by negotiations. Give Israel to concede land for peace, they'll do that. But they don't want peace. They just want to displace Israel completely.

So the last one is the woman that rides the beast. And for that let's go to Revelation chapter 17 and there we will see this entity.
This woman that rides the beast.
It's called.
Mystery Babylon the Great.
Let's read a few verses here. There came one of the seven angels, which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hit her, and I will show unto thee the judgment of the great ***** that sitteth upon many waters, says many waters, talking about many peoples. The nations of the earth are looked at as waters, that it can be pushed around as at will, with waves of politics, waves of religion.
So she sits on those many waters. There is no religious system that has such influence in politics as the Roman Catholic system. I should mention that it's not only the Roman Catholic system, it is all the evangelical.
Groups that joined together with them in what is called the ecumenical movement. It is strong as well. There are many who want to join together.
And I noticed in my time in South America, it wasn't as it was when Brother Eric Smith went to South America, when they looked at you as a heretic. I've been called that a few times. But generally they say you're our lost brethren, our departed brethren, and come back to the fold of the Catholic Church, is what they say. So there are those who are going back and they are.
I heard where was I the other day and I heard about.
Some, I think it was in the Dominican Republic, some prayer service that they had in which even the open brethren were included in getting together with Catholics and all the rest for a prayer service for some purpose, I forget what it was, but people are unknowingly going into association with this system that is so.
Basically.
Evil.
It's interesting in Spain rather than where I hope to go on the 14th.
They say that the.
50% of the people are atheists who don't believe in God at all. And to mention God is.
Like mentioning a dirty word, Let me tell you, you get an awful reaction if you do.
The rest are nominal Catholics, but they're so fed up with the Catholic system.
The priests who are homosexuals and child molesters, that they are ready to throw it all up and destroy it and they're ready for the rise of Antichrist.
But.
Verse two says With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness, and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast.
Full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and 10 horns. That's the beast we read of the political head of Western Europe in Rome. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, and having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornications. Upon her forehead was a name written Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of harlots and the abominations of the earth. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the Saints.
With the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration, See, John had seen the birth of the church in the day of Pentecost, and seeing the beautiful thing that the Spirit of God had formed. And now he sees what this is developed into through man and Satan's influence. And he wonders with great admiration, So this is the woman that rides the beast. And notice chapter 18, verse 4.
Speaking about it, I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people.

How we need to be simple brethren, and not get involved in these.
Alliances and notice what is found in her, the merchandise that was found in her in chapter 18 verse 12.
The merchandise of gold and silver, and precious stones, and pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all fine ironwood, and all manner of ivory in all manner of vessels of most precious wood, and a brass and iron, and marble, and cinnamon, and odors, And what ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and Chariots. Notice the last two on the list.
Slaves and souls of men the least thing of importance is the souls of men. If you look at the Darby translation that slaves his bodies and souls of men that's what least is important to them. Now I want to take you to the final showdown at the end of the tribulation. And there are various encounters, various battles that are fought. Let's go back, first of all, to Daniel Chapter 11.

Verse 40.
If you read the whole chapter, Daniel 11, it talks a lot about the king of the north and the king of the South. And many of the this chapter, much of this chapter is historical. It's already happened. I don't happen to be a very good history student, so I can't explain all that to you, but it's interesting. At the beginning of verse 40, notice it says at the time of the end. So we're talking about something still future here.
Shall the King of the South.
Push at him. It's been talking about the king.
Notice in verse 36 The king shall do according to his will.
It's the willful king that's the Antichrist, the one who is in power here in Jerusalem.
Verse 40 says that at that time the shall the king of the South push at him.
I would guess that just means he's going to be provoking from Egypt. They're going to be pushing at Israel.
And the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with Chariots and with horsemen, and with many ships. He shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown. They shall escape out of his hand, even Edom and Moab, and the children, chief of the children of Ammon, he shall stretch forth his hand also upon the country's.
The land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt.
And the Libyans and The Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
OK, so the second, the first thing that happens is Egypt pushes at the Antichrist and then the king of the north who comes down with a flood. And it's going to be an attack that Israel will not be able to resist. They're going to it's going to go right down through the land. One of the Old Testament prophets says it's like the Garden of Eden in front of them and it's like a desolate wilderness behind them as he comes down through there, destroying all that's in his path, and he's going to come right down into Egypt.

And it says the Libyans, you know, Mormar Gaddafi, who is it? You mentioned that or as you mentioned that. Yeah, he's over here in Libya. He's going to be at his steps of the Assyrian. He's on a friend of of the Assyrian and The Ethiopians down here a little bit further, but they're going to be allied with him.
OK, we're going to just stop there.
The end of verse 43. For a moment, I don't want you to lose your place there because we're going to come back. But look at the map here. Now remember, the Antichrist here in Jerusalem is confederate. There's a pact signed for protection between the people of Israel and the European Union or the revived Roman Empire.
Headed by the beast, the head of that Roman Empire. And so when the Assyrian attacks from the north, it goes through and leaves such a terrible path of devastation immediately that's going to be a call to the beast to come with his armies. And when he comes over with his armies is what we have in Revelation chapter 19. Turn over there, please.
Yeah, yeah.
And verse 11.
Here is, brethren, the revelation of Jesus Christ.
The manifestation or the appearing? I saw heaven opened, and behold a White Horse.
Oh brother, what a tremendous thing when heaven opens and a White Horse, symbol of victory, and he that sat upon him was called faithful and true, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. See that when he comes back he's going to make war.
He's not going to come as the meek Lamb of God, He's going to come as the lion of the tribe of Judah.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns.
The Lord Jesus has many glories, and he had a name written.
That no man knew but he himself.
That is the Lord Jesus. There are glories of His person that we will never be able to know. Only He knows. He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. This is not His blood. This is the blood of His enemies, as we'll see a little bit later. And his name is called the word of God.
Question that this is the Lord Jesus, and the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. Who are these armies? Go back to verse 8 when it's talking about the marriage of the Lamb. It says that his wife had made herself ready, and to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white for the fine linen.
Their righteousnesses of Saints so the armies of heaven are the redeemed that come back with Him. You and I are going to be eyewitnesses when Jesus comes back in power and glory.
Tremendous thing. People ask me if I have plans to go to the Holy Land. I say yes, I do.
I may not get there when I'm down here, but I got plans to go and I think you do too, don't you, brother Lyle?
Yeah, it's going to be wonderful. We'll get a view that even people that go over now won't get when he comes back to the Mount of Olives. You know, it's interesting. He went up from the Mount of Olives.
And, and you know the geography over there, there's what is called the Temple Mount. I have a picture of it in my house.
It's so fabulously interesting to me.
The temple was in that location before it was destroyed. And now today there is what they call the Mosque of Omar, which is the third most holy site of the Muslim peoples. And it's a very delicate.

With the between the Jewish people and the Muslims, because if they touch that site, it wouldn't immediately be in war with all the Arabs. So they have to be very careful about it, but.
Somehow they're going to build the temple and I heard more recently that they now have found out that the original foundations of the temple are little to the north of the Mosque of Omar. And they could actually build the temple without during without touching the Mosque of Omar. So what will happen will be very interesting to to watch. But I hear that they have all the materials ready for the building of the temple. And once they get the permission to do it, it wouldn't take but if you weeks that they could have a temple in place.
To start their animal sacrifices again.
Things are moving. Very interesting, yeah.
Be built. That will be the Antichrist that will be in that temple proclaiming he's got that's the building bill and he'll use it. It's pretty clear in in Second Thessalonians chapter 2 That he will go into the temple of God showing himself that he is God.
Not only that but he will put the image of the beast in there and demand that it be worshipped and it says in chapter 13 that he will be have power to give breath to the image of the beast, whatever that means. I not sure that I understand.
But it says here in verse 15, Out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, With it he should smite the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron. And he treaded the wine press, that the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God he hath on his vestion on his thigh a name written King of kings and Lord of Lords.
And I saw an Angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying, To all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, come, gather yourselves together into the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of them that sit on them, The flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast. There's the political head and the kings of the earth. There's 10 kings that are arrayed with him.
And their armies, I suppose, will be the greatest display of of military force that there's ever been gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse and against his army.
So here's what happens when the king of the North is down here in Egypt.
The king, the beast comes with his armies to defend the his his.
Ally ally the Antichrist and when he gets there is when the Lord comes out of heaven, and the first battle of the war of Armageddon is when he destroys the beast and his armies. Notice verse 20 and the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet. That's another name of the Antichrist, the false prophet.
That wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that had worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into the lake of fire, burning with brimstone. First two that arrived in the lake of fire are these two that are caught in red handed rebellion against the Christ of God, and they're thrown directly. They're not even given the trial. Thrown directly into the lake of fire, the first two that get there.
The Beast and the Antichrist Verse 21 The Remnant. All those soldiers were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth, and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Terrible slaughter. It's going to be you. Imagine we're not going to fight. There's no indication that we will fight in that battle. It'll be the Lord, and they can fire all the missiles. They wanted him. They won't have any effect at all. The sort of his mouth. He's going to knock one army after another off their feet to the ground. They'll be dead before they even realize what's going on.
O the power that will be displayed at that moment.
Yes, he is the meek Lamb of God, but he is also the lion of the tribe of Judah, and he will not turn aside for anybody. So that's the first battle of the War of Armageddon, something that the place is a little bit to the north of.

Jerusalem in a valley called Megiddo and then Armageddon is kind of a derivative of Megiddo.
Now go back to Daniel Chapter 11.
We left the king of the north down there in Egypt.
Daniel, 11, and.
Verse 44.
But tidings out of the east and out of the north, See, he's down here in Egypt. What's to the east and to the north of there? It's the land of Israel.
Tidings out of the East and out of the North shall trouble him. This is the.
Assyrian, the king of the north. What could trouble him?
We don't know exactly. It doesn't say what the tidings are, but maybe he hears that there's an invasion from the beast, and that the beast has mysteriously been totally annihilated, and that there is a heavenly.
Full that has come into the scene, and So what happens says, therefore, he shall go forth with great fury to destroy.
And utterly to make away many. And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas.
See the dead seas right over here, and the Mediterranean seas is right there, and in between is Jerusalem. Between the seas in the glorious holy mountain. It's Jerusalem. Yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
That's the second battle of the War of Armageddon. So the King of the North is now destroyed, as well as the beast, as the Lord proceeds to establish his Kingdom. Now there is one further.
Battle that will take place in the invasion from Russia that we want to talk about. But before I get around to that, I just want to come back here to these.
Different time frames, remember 12601290 and 13351260 to 1290 is another 30 days and 1290 to 1335 is another 45 days. And what has been suggested by some authors and perhaps is the case, I don't know that we can say definitely that it is the case, but that between the battle or the battle to destroy the beast.
And the battle to destroy the King of the North is the 30 day period. And then there is another.
45 days in which Russia will invade from the north.
It's a possibility. I just suggested. That seems to me that that could be the case, but I want to talk about something else that happens between the second battle where the Lord defeats the King of the North, and the third battle where the Lord defeats the king or the Gog and Magog Russia, and that is the restoration of the 10 tribes. Remember in Matthew 24 we read about the Lord sounding this trumpet.
And gathering his elect from the four winds if you turn to.
The book of Ezekiel chapter 37 is where you have the prophecy.
Of the valley of dry bones. Remember, he comes upon this valley of dry bones, and he prophecies. And all of a sudden the bones come one to another, and they stand up, and muscles come over them, and flesh comes upon them and and breath.
At the last he is prophesized and breath comes in and there's a mighty army that is the regathering of the nation of Israel. The 10 tribes in that time frame are going to be brought back from all the places that they've been scattered, and they're going to be brought to the borders of the land of Egypt or the land of Israel. Excuse me? And he's going to plead with him. Those people were not guilty.

Of the death and the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus. Those people were guilty of idolatry and that's why they've been scattered in the earth. They forsook the true God and they went after idols. But he's going to bring them back and he's going to plead with them. And now many of them are going to fall and they're going to not going to make it.
And but there will be of the 10 tribes, those that come back to the Lord at that time. And that's what you have in chapter 37.
The end of the chapter 37 you have a prophecy of the two sticks. One stick is marked Ephraim.
Which is considered to be the 10 tribes. And the other stick is Mark Judah. And he puts those two sticks in his hand and they become one stick in his hand. That's the union again of those two of those 12 tribes. And that happens before the final encounter. And when Russia comes down with their hordes, then Israel will be gathered together in that time frame too. They're going to recognize.
All those terrible battles, they're going to recognize their their.
Judah.
The ones the Jews that we were talking about are going to recognize their sin. And then the 10 tribes are brought in and then comes the final battle.
Though battle with the with Gog and Magog and we don't have a whole lot of time to read chapter 38 and 39, but it's going to be a tremendous time of of.
Let's read a few verses there. 38 verse two. Son of man, set thy face against Gog in the land of Magog, the chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal.
Prophecy against them. And say thus saith the Lord God, behold, I am against the old Gog, the chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal, and I will turn thee back and put hooks into thy jaws, and will bring thee forth. And all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and Shields, all of them handling swords. Persia, There's Iran, Ethiopia, and Libya with them.
Those two from from Africa that were with the King of the North were confederate with the King of the North too. Probably helped them to regroup and to rearm to go back to fight against the Lord.
Gomer and all his bands in the House of Togarma of the North Quarters. In all his bands. And notice this part of verse 6.
And many people with thee. Some people have asked about China.
And I don't know if I can answer that very clearly, but it could be included in this little statement. And many people with the IT will include many in the final effort on Satan's part to destroy the Lord. It will come down. Be thou prepared and prepare for thyself, thou and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, be thou our guard unto them. And after many days thou shalt be visited. In the latter years thou shalt come back into the land which is brought back from the sword and is gathered out of the many peoples. It's talking about Israel here.
Against the mountains of Israel, and again, which have been always waste, but is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt descend and come. This is Gog and Magog like a storm. Thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou and all the bands, and many people with thee. Thus saith the Lord, it shall come to pass that it the time same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought, and thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages.
I will go to them that are at rest and dwell safely. See the Lord Jesus is in the midst of them then.
And they think that they can come in now that the Western Power has been destroyed and the king of the north has been destroyed. God thinks, well, now it'll be easy to take, take over. Verse 12, to take a spoil and to take a prey, to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations which have gotten cattle and goods and dwell in the midst of the land. Shiva. And didn't all the merchants of Tarshish, with all the Young Lions thereof?
Shall say unto thee, art thou come to take a spot spoil? Hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey, to gather away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods and to take a great spoil? Well, it talks about the Lord Jesus verse chapter 39. It says in verse two, I will turn thee back and will leave but the 6th part of thee SO5 sixths of this company is going to be totally.

Destroyed, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring the upon the mountains of Israel, and I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine narrow arrows to follow.
Out of thy right hand, and thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou and all thy bands, the people that is with thee. And I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
I think it's enough to read there, but that gives you the idea. That's the final battle as the Lord establishes His Kingdom. Actually, he's already in Israel and as he comes down he will be totally destroyed. 5-6 of them are going to fall. No wonder that land is going to be soaked in the blood of the enemies of the people of Israel.
And then after that takes place.
There's going to be, and it's kind of interesting to see the different judgments that the Lord executes. It says in Matthew 13, he will send forth his angels and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that offend. So the angels will be used in establishing his Kingdom and they will go throughout the world and gather out those who are against those that have rejected the gospel. And then the what we read about in Matthew 20.

The judgment of the nations, When he gathers all nations before him, that will take place too.
In this time frame, as he establishes his Kingdom in the earth, and he's going to.
Cut off the goats and the sheep are gonna be brought into millennial blessing, and then he's going to reign supreme for 1000 years. We can't imagine the wonderful blessedness of that rain. Just like to read a few verses about the millennial reign because it is so tremendously beautiful. Isaiah has so much about it, but I, I, I thoroughly enjoy just reading.
Little details notice in Isaiah chapter 2.
Verse 2.
Shall come to pass in the last days. The mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the tops of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow into it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up into the mountain of the Lord, to the House of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us of his ways. We will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem, and he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people.
And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their Spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. What a change.
No more.
Financing for defense in any nation, will you? Wonderful, brother, Tremendous. Can you even imagine it? Can't even imagine it. But look a little bit further down.
Verse 10 Enter into the rock and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His Majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down. The Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
For the day of the Lord of Hosts shall be upon everyone that is proud and lofty, and upon everyone that is lifted up. And he shall be brought low. Upon all the Cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Beijing, and upon all the high mountains, upon all the hills that are lifted up, upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, upon all the ships of Tarsus, and upon the pleasant pictures. The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made law. The Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
The idols he shall utterly abolish, and they shall go into the holes of the rocks and into the caves of the earth, for the fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His Majesty, when he arises to shake terribly the earth.
Don't think we realize how terrible it will be when the Lord takes power. You're going to shake terribly in the earth.

Huh. It is. Well, he's going to shake terribly the earth.
And I think people are going to get the message.
There's somebody in the earth that is to be feared, and he's going to reign supreme. Look at Isaiah 32. There's so many scriptures that could be pointed to, but I just love these verses that speak of this time verse. Isaiah 32. Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness. That's where we have righteousness reigning, and Princess shall rule in judgment verse.
30 verse 17.
And the work of righteousness shall be peace.
And the effect of righteousness, quietness, and assurance.
Forever and my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation and ensure dwelling places and in quiet resting places. There won't be any need of locks. There won't be any need of prisons.
Brethren, we don't have a clue of the tremendous glory of the earth in that day, let alone our place. Our place is heavenly, although we will be engaged in the government of the earth. Think Scripture very clearly teaches that. So maybe we will be sent on commissions down here. Our place is heaven, but just like the president of the US may come to.
Iowa falls on the question of government.
But this is not his place, but he comes, and so the world to come. He has not put in the hand of angels, but he's put into the hands of men. And you and I are going to be involved in reigning with Christ through that millennial day. In the Book of Revelation talks about the tree of life, which is the Lord Jesus, and that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
Now they say that there's some.
Nations in Africa that almost 50% of the people are HIV positive. Terrible plague that that is to the human race. The leaves of the tree here. For the healing of the nations, there won't be any need of any doctors.
Sorry Aaron, we won't need any nurses either. But.
I guess you won't be around for that purpose anyhow.
And.
And there won't be any pharmacies or hospitals. Can you imagine it? I find it tough to even imagine it. But that's what's ahead for this world too, under the reign of Christ. Oh, what a glorious day is ahead, brother.
