There seems to be a streak in man’s heart that is cold and callous. Just as Joseph’s brothers sat down to eat while Joseph, a captive in the pit beside them, was waiting, so those who nailed Jesus to the cross sat down and watched Him as He suffered. May it be our prayer that we never grow cold and heartless. There are so many who have hurts and need love and care. A Christian must show the love and compassion of Christ in every way, every day. Let Christ’s love shine through you to a troubled world.
