Him that is able to keep you from falling.
Jude 24
The Lord is well able to keep us from falling. So why is it that we sometimes do fall? Perhaps one reason is that we don’t practice diligently the additions to our faith that Peter lists in the first chapter of his second letter: add VIRTUE to faith, KNOWLEDGE to virtue, SELF-CONTROL to knowledge, PERSEVERANCE, GODLINESS, BROTHERLY KINDNESS, and LOVE. “For if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.” 2 Peter 1:10. God will keep us, but these verses tell us what we need to do.
