(Num. 34:11; Josh. 12:3); and “Sea of Galilee,” in N. T.; enlargement of Jordan river; 13 miles long, 6 wide, 700 below bed of ocean. “Lake of Gennesaret” (Luke 5:1); “Sea of Tiberias” (John 6:1); “the sea” (Matt. 4:15).
