By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.
If we don’t take care of our possessions, pretty soon they will look old and shabby and run down. And eventually they will decay or rust through. Perhaps there is a lesson here spiritually. If we are lazy and don’t care for the people of God, the testimony of the Lord’s house will become tumbled down and disheveled. Christians need encouragement. They need to be taught the things of God. Let’s make sure that we do our part in patching up where a hole has broken through. God doesn’t want us to be lazy Christians.
