Ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh.
There is a definite difference between being free and doing whatever we want. Yes, we have been set free from Satan and bondage to him. But that doesn’t give us license to live outside of God’s standards and His law. Once we are saved, our whole motivation should be, “Am I doing what is pleasing to the Lord?” If I am, then I won’t be letting my old nature take control. Jesus has given us “all things that pertain unto life and godliness.” Let’s be free in His liberty.
