That  .  .  .  they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
The final “life-style” spoken about by Peter is a “good life-style.” That doesn’t mean living a life-style with lots of possessions and food and the latest in cars and fashions. It means simply that we are good people. Jesus was a good man. He did and thought good things. Jesus was far more than just a good man, of course, but you understand what I mean. That is the pattern for us, to be good people, people who are there to help when help is needed, who are kind and thoughtful and polite, etc. Let’s live good lives for Jesus’ sake.
