I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
The Ephesian Christians were on fire for the Lord. They had turned from idolatry to worship and love the one true God. They showed by their living that they belonged to the Lord Jesus Christ. And then things changed. Things of the world crept into their lives and the things of God took a secondary place. God noticed it and held it against them. He wants first place in our lives. Do we give it to Him? Don’t let your love for Christ grow cool. Fan the flame all the time and keep yourself in tune with God’s will.
