Memorization of Scripture is so important. When you are young it’s pretty easy. As you get older, not only can you not memorize as well (or at all) but you tend to forget what you have memorized. But memorizing the Scriptures, that are able to make you wise concerning salvation, is VERY important. You will not be wasting your time. Try picking out several of the more well-known verses to start with and remember them and their references. It will pay off. I was impressed recently listening to a young brother preach the gospel. He quoted over 60 Scripture passages. Memorize!
