Moses

It came into his heart to visit his brethren.
This verse refers to Moses who, after 40 years in Pharaoh’s palace as the adopted son of Pharaoh’s daughter, somehow discovered that he was actually the son of a Hebrew slave. So Moses, with thoughts of delivering the Israelites from their slavery in Egypt, went to visit his brethren. Good thought! Bad timing! He went with his own plans for deliverance. God’s schedule was different, and Moses had to wait another 40 years before God sent him back to deliver His people.
