Mount Pisgah

The top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.
This mountain is on the east side of the Jordan River. In Deuteronomy 34 we read of Moses going up to the top of Pisgah and from there God showed him the promised land. Sadly, after 40 years of wandering in the desert leading God’s people, Moses was forbidden to enter the promised land because he had, in a fit of temper, disobeyed God. Moses was buried by God and no one ever found his grave site.
