No Confidence

EXO 3:10-11¹⁰Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. ¹¹And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? (Exodus 3:10‑11)

I will send thee unto Pharaoh. . . . Who am I?

Exodus 3:10, 11¹⁰Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. ¹¹And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? (Exodus 3:10‑11)

Poor Moses. God is sending him on the mission of a lifetime. He was to lead all the Israelites out of Egypt, away from the cruelty of a dictator and into their own land. But Moses has no confidence in himself. In some respects this is good. But the problem was that God told him to go and Moses tried to make excuse. We must have confidence in God that, when He sends us to do something, He will help us in spite of our weaknesses.
