They could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as [Daniel] was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
Wow, this is some commendation! Daniel’s enemies could find absolutely nothing against him in any area of his life. His life was faultless. And that’s the challenge for the Christian - to live a life that is faultless. What was Daniel’s secret? He was faithful to the Lord. And that will be the secret of our faultless life too. The Apostle Paul says in Titus 2, “Showing thyself a pattern of good works . . . that he that is of the contrary part [the unbeliever] may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.”
