No Fault

LUK 23:14¹⁴Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him: (Luke 23:14)

I . . . have found no fault in this man.

Pilate had questioned the Lord and he had come to one conclusion - there was not a fault to be found. Jesus could not and therefore did not sin. Pilate was incapable of finding any fault because Jesus was perfect. The religious leaders of the day trumped up a charge against the Lord in order to get rid of Him. But in actual fact, as stated by one of the thieves at Calvary, “This man hath done nothing amiss.” Hallelujah! We have a perfect Savior.
