No Hope or Hope?

EPH 2:12¹²That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: (Ephesians 2:12)

Without Christ . . . having no hope, and without God in the world.

Anatoly and Gourgen made their first parachute jumps at an air club. Anatoly’s first nearly became his last, as his main chute failed to open. A man in his group had declared that if this happened, nothing could help. Anatoly hurtled toward earth, thinking his life was about to end as people yelled and motioned frantically for him to pull the emergency chute. Finally, he yanked on a cord. It opened the chute, and he landed safely. “But now in Christ Jesus ye . . . are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” Eph. 2:13¹³But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. (Ephesians 2:13). Jesus is your ONLY hope for salvation. Trust Him!
