.) It has, I think, been overlooked that of Noah and his sons-Gen. 9 I, 2, 3-" the Gentile world " constitute the elder son. "All that I have is thine" is clearly demonstrated in these verses; and although scattered at the tower of Babel, "the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." God gave to Abraham and his seed a portion-the land of Canaan: in the fullest sense of the word they " wasted their substance in riotous living "; they will yet come back to the Father's house, and He will receive them joyfully.
