One characteristic that marked Joseph, which was very beautiful, was his obedience. Knowing full well that his brothers hated him (they may have hidden their feelings from Jacob), Joseph was willing to go and find his brothers, who were off feeding the sheep somewhere far from home. Israel wanted to know how they were doing. Absolute obedience should be the mark of every Christian - to be willing and ready to do our heavenly Father’s bidding without making any excuse.
