Omnipotence.

IN the closing passages of the Gospel story, when the Lord had risen from the dead, the essential heart and teaching of it all is this—that nothing can really remove the presence of Christ; that, though His disciples could not see Him, He was teaching them in the transition period to believe that He was there when they least expected Him. So that suddenly, despite closed doors, the Lord stood in the midst; so that when they were taking a country walk there was by their side a Stranger who proved to be no stranger but the Lord Whom they loved so well. — Harrington C.
