I was preparing to deposit this amount in the Savings Bank when the thought, came to me, ‘Lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven.’ At first I thought it was too much and I could not spare it, but when I remembered what Jesus had done for me, I was only sorry it was not more. I have left the safe arrival of this letter in the Lord’s hands, and shall pray for a blessing on every little book sent, as I do for all your great work. — ONE OF HIS OWN.”
