(1) Head of a priestly family (1 Chron. 9:12¹²And Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasiai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer; (1 Chronicles 9:12); Neh. 11:12¹²And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah, (Nehemiah 11:12); Jer. 21:1¹The word which came unto Jeremiah from the Lord, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying, (Jeremiah 21:1)). (2) Priestly governor of the house of the Lord (1 Chron. 24:14¹⁴The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer, (1 Chronicles 24:14); Jer. 20:1¹Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the Lord, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.
