When He giveth quietness, who then can make trouble?
My confidence in the omniscient God should be such that I know that He is near even when Satan causes me trouble. Confidence in God gives an inner peace that outer circumstances should not be able to take away. This sort of confidence grows as we mature in Christ. As we grow in the Christian path, we get to know the Lord better, and with that comes our peace in His protection and presence.
