The lowering of the world’s standards affects the Christian, and, unless we are very careful, our standard of what is right and wrong will change along with the world. There was a time when divorce was unheard of for the Christian. Now it’s commonplace. There was a time when women did not speak in churches. Now there are many denominations that have women preachers. Let’s be careful in our personal lives to make sure that we don’t let the world affect our thinking so that we turn a blind eye to sin. God still hates it and we should too.
