Perfect

Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this Man.
Of course Pilate couldn’t. There was no fault to find. Jesus was a perfect man. He never thought or did anything wrong. He couldn’t, because He was (and is) God, and God can’t sin. But the people didn’t care and they demanded the Lord’s crucifixion anyway, because they didn’t want Him. His presence had shown them how evil they were and they wanted to shut out the witness to their wickedness. So Jesus died on Calvary that day, and through His death we can be cleansed from our sins and be perfect in His sight.
