The Jews hated Paul and his gospel preaching and his outreach to the Gentiles so much that all they could think about was to get rid of him. The Apostle Paul was protected in a very special way by God and survived all attempts on his life. But he knew what persecution was, and he was willing to endure it because his love for the Lord was so great. Don’t be surprised if the world hates you too.
