Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.
We persuade. Since we know that all will stand before Christ someday and that He will rightly punish the wicked, we therefore seek to win over people to the Lord. The Lord Jesus is not only the Judge of all men, He is also the Savior of all men who trust Him. We know hell is a terrible place, so we do and say all we can to people we meet to persuade them to believe the gospel and be saved. Have you ever pleaded with someone to receive the Lord? Do you know the Bible well enough to be able to explain it to a person?
