He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God.
Psalm 40:3
Our new song is not man-made, but one that Christ has put in our hearts. It’s a happy song and one that we’ll never get tired of singing. It’s the song of the redeemed. There never has been a song in the history of man that has been able to give God the praise that He deserves. He gave up His own Son and punished Him for our sins so that we could go free. And after we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, He puts the new redemption song in our mouth that gives praise to Him. Redemption is God’s work and the song is His. Let’s praise Him with it today.
