And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
There’s another lesson to learn from this verse. If you read verse 11, you will see that the scribes and Pharisees had just had a planning meeting to figure out what they could do to Jesus. He had made them extremely angry by doing good on the Sabbath. Instead of the Lord panicking and planning His escape, He goes to an all-night prayer session with His Father.
