Here is something else in a Christian’s life that is not done in the public eye. Prayer is a special, private time between me and God. I don’t need to broadcast to everyone else how pious I am. I don’t need to show (like the Moslems do at their designated prayer times) how devout or religious I am. God wants us to spend spontaneous, quality time alone with Him.
