Chapter 3 of 1 Timothy describes the qualifications of “elders” and “deacons”. You may never be in a position to do the work of an elder (you may be a sister, for instance), but we would like to challenge you to take these qualifications seriously for your own life. Today’s verse is a good example of how we should live our lives -projecting a good testimony to the world. Read this chapter carefully and ask the Lord to help you to be qualified.
