They that were ready went in with him to the marriage.
The Lord is telling a story here to illustrate how vitally important it is to be ready for when Jesus comes. Only those who were ready went in to the marriage. Only those who are ready will go in to heaven when Jesus gives the shout. How do I get ready? By simply believing in the Lord Jesus as my Savior and that He came into the world to die for my sins on the cross. He died on the cross so that I might live. He shed His precious blood to wash away my sins. Believe this for yourself and you are ready for heaven.
