He did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the Lord.
What a contrast to yesterday’s verse. Here is a man who would not put the Lord first. In fact, he didn’t include the Lord in any of his plans. And it says of him that he did evil. How much better to seek to please the Lord and to live for Him than to be classed as doing evil. All evil-doers end up in a lost eternity. Put Jesus first in your life. You will not regret it.
