Father, give me  .  .  .
Father, I have sinned.
The son was selfish. He had pleasure in mind. He took his share of the inheritance and spent it on himself. Then, when hard times hit, he finally started thinking about home and how wrong he had been. He repented and returned to his father. The first words he spoke to his father after the months of sinful living were, “I have sinned.” Repentance is to turn around and admit that you were wrong. Young Christian, if you have slipped into a sinful life-style, turn around today and come back to God, your Father. He’s watching for you and waiting to take you back.
