Listen from:
John measured the temple and the altar. God keeps track of His worshippers. He does not keep track of those outside nations that will be destroyed. They rejected Christ the King.
God always has a witness of at least two or three in the earth. The two witnesses here are not individuals but the faithful Jews. They had power like Moses and Elijah. Moses turned water to blood. Elijah called fire down from heaven and stopped the rain. God would protect these witnesses. Anyone who tried to hurt them would die. The witnesses told people that Christ the Messiah was coming to judge the world and to set up His kingdom. After they witness for 3½ years, the Beast will make war with them and kill them and leave their bodies lying in the street. The nations will have a party to celebrate their death. After 3½ days, the nations will see the witnesses rise from the dead and stand on their feet, and then God will take them to heaven. Great fear will come on God’s enemies. But they won’t repent. All the faithful martyrs of the tribulation will be raised from the dead and go to heaven.
Christ will destroy all His enemies and set up His kingdom over all the earth. Satan and the Antichrist tried to take it for themselves, but it belongs to Jesus Christ. He will rule in power and righteousness. The 24 elders are all the saints. They fall down to honor and worship Christ the King.
