If riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
A friend of mine bought stock in IBM several years ago when they were doing well. It cost him $115 or so a share. Recently IBM has had some major problems and that stock has dropped to less than half of what he paid. You see, riches may not always be there. So don’t set your heart on the increase in riches. Tomorrow they may be gone. The only thing that is safe to trust in is the Lord Jesus and He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He never changes - neither do His love and care for each of us. We will always find Him right beside us even in the toughest circumstances. And His home is our home too.
