Seasons

Listen from:
He appointed the moon for seasons.
Today is an odd day of the year. We only get one of these every four years, to keep the calendar right. The Jewish calendar is run in a different way. When two reliable witnesses see the tiniest evidence of a new moon they inform the Rabbi who then proclaims the start of a new month. So the Jewish months go from new moon to new moon. God goes according to a calendar too. And His calendar is running out of time. One day soon the last day of this world’s history will end and eternity will begin. We pray that each of you is ready for eternity.
