Service: EXO 2:4

Exodus 2:4  •  1 min. read  •  grade level: 5
And [Moses’] sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him.
Miriam had a special job to do for her parents. She had to watch over her brother Moses and see what would happen to him. And she did her job well. So well, in fact, that Moses ended up being reunited with his mother to be nursed and cared for until he was old enough to go to Pharaoh’s house as the adopted son of Pharaoh’s daughter. But by then he had been taught enough by his mother to know that true blessing could only be found by following God. This he did - with all his heart. Have you ever thought what might have happened if Miriam had not watched that day? Be dedicated in your service, young believer. God will reward you.
Hi from the CareLines desk! Here’s our last issue this year. It looks like I did a lot from the Old Testament. But there are so many neat verses there that we often overlook. Make it a habit to read the Old Testament and enjoy for yourself some of the riches there, written by men who were moved by the Holy Spirit to write.
With love in the Lord Jesus,
Paul Pascoe
