HEB 13:20-21²⁰Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, ²¹Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20‑21)

Now the God of peace . . . make you perfect in every good work to do His will.

Service for the Lord has to be in accordance with His will. There are many good works that we can do that will bring praise of men to ourselves. There are many good works that we can do according to what we think best and according to our likes. Those are more for ourselves than for the Lord. His work may go unnoticed by others. But whether noticed or not, we should always want to do His will. Nothing will bring a reward unless we have done His will. Is His will our will too?
