How often we are faced with a problem which appears overwhelming! Nothing that we can do seems to make any difference. Mary was in such a situation as she anticipated the death of the Lord. She couldn’t do much but she did what she could: she anointed the Lord with her precious spikenard ointment. The Lord will not ask you to do the impossible. Just do what you can and leave the results to Him.
