The gifts mentioned in Romans 12:6-8⁶Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; ⁷Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; ⁸Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness. (Romans 12:6‑8) are gifts of service - so that we are able to help and build each other up. The exhorting talked about in verse 8 is rendered by some as an “encourager.” Perhaps you have this gift. Being of service in this way often goes on behind the scenes, but it is extremely important. Ask the Lord to guide you in how you may be of service to others as an encourager.
