JOH 12:26²⁶If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honor. (John 12:26)

Service for the Lord requires obedience and dedication. First, obedience in worship. We must follow the Lord to the place of worship chosen by Him. Second, obedience in conduct. We need to act just like the Lord did when He was here. Lastly, service may require that we lay down our lives. We must be willing to give up EVERYTHING for Him - even our life. That’s true service.
