Joseph . . . served them.
This is a wonderful verse and a great lesson for any who feel sorry for themselves when things are tough. Joseph had been thrown into prison for something he had not done. But instead of feeling sorry for himself, he spent his time in caring for the needs of the other prisoners. Think about that. Don’t just mope when things seem black and not going your way. Just spend your time in serving others. You’ll be glad that you did.
