Whereunto I also labor, striving according to His working, which worketh in me mightily.
The Apostle Paul served the Lord in several ways, his primary service being in the gospel. However, in our verse today Paul is laboring with the saints of God with a view to helping them mature in their spiritual growth. But notice that the Apostle did not work according to the way he thought it should be done but according to God’s leading. This is the great secret of successful service - according to God’s working.
