Thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
Never grumble because you aren’t as good at something as someone else is. How good you are doesn’t matter. What does matter is whether you use what you have for the Lord. The Lord has given each of us different abilities. He wants us to use that ability in His service. The man in our verse didn’t fuss because another person got five talents and he only received two. No, he used the two and gained two more. And he received the exact same praise from the Lord as the one who had been entrusted with five talents. Use what you have for the Master. It pays off.
