Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
Service is doing. To know what to do for the Lord and to not do it is a dishonor to Him and will lead to unhappiness in our life. Jesus said: “If you know these things, blessed [or happy] are you if you do them.” In our verse, Jesus had just taught the people what true neighborliness was - the practical helping of someone in trouble. Jesus finished His instruction with: “Go, and do thou likewise.”
