ROM 7:4

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. (Romans 7:4)
Wherefore, my brethren . . . we should bring forth fruit unto God.
Romans 7:4

Bringing forth fruit just simply means that others can see Christ in us. What were some of the characteristics of the Lord? He was kind. He always spoke the truth. He was merciful, tender, compassionate, willing to listen. He was gracious and gentle. He cared for other people. Do these things show up in our lives too? If they do, we will bring forth fruit unto God. If they don’t, we need to get before the Lord about it and ask Him to help us shine for Him.
