The disciples . . . determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judea: which also they did.
The service of giving can be individual or collective. In our verse today the disciples as a group wanted to help their brethren in Judea who were going through hard times financially. So they sent money to them. But don’t forget to be willing to give as an individual when you hear of someone who is in need. Anything given with a heart of love to others who are less fortunate than yourself will be noticed by the Lord and rewarded by Him. Don’t forget to give.
