Treasurer to Hezekiah. He was denounced by God through the prophet Isaiah; apparently he afterward became scribe or secretary (2 Kings 18:18,26,37; 2 Kings 19:2; Isa. 22:15; Isa. 36:3,11,22; Isa. 37:2).
